LOS ANGELES (July 15, 2015) – Insomniac announced the launch of the completely redesigned Bassrush.com, now the ultimate destination for bass music fans featuring news, interviews, streams and downloads, mixes and exclusives with the biggest names in drum & bass, trap, dubstep, and all other genres of bass music. The newly transformed site will also feature culture-based articles with the most influential figures in the scene and act as the go-to destination for upcoming Bassrush event details, ticketing and announcements.

“Bassrush was created to push bass music culture forward, and help keep drum & bass alive and vibrant here in the United States,” said Pasquale Rotella, Founder and CEO of Insomniac. “Relaunching the website, expanding the content, and creating a hub for all our events helps give the brand and the culture a proper home where it can grow and thrive.”

The Bassrush brand was born out of the underground warehouse scene in Los Angeles during the late 90’s and early 2000’s. Since its beginnings over a decade ago, Bassrush has evolved from its strictly drum & bass roots to now include dubstep, trap and other bass music genres. Acting as the premiere bass music hub in America, Bassrush has produced massive events and warehouse inspired nights at world-class venues such as the Hollywood Palladium, Exchange LA, Los Globos and Lot 613.

In addition to hosting stages at all major Insomniac festivals such as EDC Las Vegas, Nocturnal Wonderland and Beyond Wonderland, Bassrush has produced multi-date national tours for major artists including Skrillex, Excision and Datsik among others. This year, Bassrush premiered its first US Tour, Bassrush North America Takeover, making stops in 14 cities nationwide with performances from 12th Planet, Loudpvck and Kove. Bassrush is widely celebrated for catering to old school fans and new age bass lovers alike.

Catch the next Bassrush Massive event Safe in Sound at NOS Events Center on September 26th with spine-tingling sets from Zomboy, Datsik, Dotcom, NGHTMRE, TERRAVITA and more! Tickets for Safe in Sound will go on-sale Friday, July 17 at noon PT at Bassrush.com.
